The Washtenaw County Trial Court, also known as the 22nd Circuit Court, is housed in the Ann Arbor Justice Center located in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is a prominent trial court serving our area, handling a wide array of legal matters across four specialized divisions, including: 

Civil Division: Civil cases with a value exceeding $25,000. Examples of matters include contract disputes, personal injury claims, property disputes, and more. 

Criminal Division: Felony offenses and serious criminal cases. The court ensures fair trials and administers justice in criminal matters. 

Family Division: Family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and related disputes. It strives to protect the rights and welfare of individuals and families involved in these cases. 

Probate Division: Wills, trusts, estates, guardianships, conservatorships, and mental health cases. The court ensures the fair administration of assets and provides protection for vulnerable individuals.
